Built in Osaka

Osaka, Japan. One of the country’s largest homebuilders, and a bet on BIM.

Daiwa House is rethinking how buildings get designed and made, connecting BIM data from the design office to the factory floor where steel components are fabricated. For Autodesk, our team traveled to Japan to film the people leading that change, from DX/BIM strategy leader Akira Yoshikawa to the designers and fabricators putting it to work. It’s a story about a major builder choosing to work differently, told with the craft and calm of the places it was filmed.
