Saturn’s and Jupiter’s moons are some of the most promising places to look for life beyond Earth. They’re also hundreds of millions of miles away, in conditions few machines can survive. For Autodesk, we followed engineers at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory as they used generative design to rethink how an interplanetary lander could be built. The result is a short film that turns a dense engineering challenge into a human story about curiosity, ambition and the tools that help people reach further. It’s technical enough for experts and clear enough for everyone else.
